LAHORE, May 29:
Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif
has paid glowing tributes to the officers and jawans of Pak Army who were
martyred in an avalanche in Gayari sector of Siachen and said that the whole
nation is proud of the supreme sacrifice of these brave and valiant jawans of
Pak Army. He said that these martyrs have added a new chapter to the history of
courage and bravery by laying down their lives in the defense of the country in
extremely hostile weather conditions in the highest battlefield of the world.
The Chief Minister prayed for the martyrs of Gayari sector and fortitude for
the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss.
